Additionally, the patient should be advised that the compounded preparation is provided based upon the medical need of the individual patient. Insurance coverage for compounded prescriptions varies by carrier.
We understand the importance of taste when it comes to your child’s medicine. Unfortunately for many kids, the yucky flavor of medicine prevents them from taking the recommended dosage they need in order to get better. That’s why we offer the FLAVORx Flavoring System.
Our flavors are specifically designed to make medication taste better. Flavorings are non-allergenic, sugar-free and can be added to any liquid medication. Our pharmacists can also use a bitterness suppressor and sweetness enhancer to enhance the taste. A wide assortment of kid-approved flavors is available and your pharmacist can recommend specific flavors that best complement each medication.
We also have adult and pet flavors! Just ask your pharmacist the next time you drop off a prescription.
